At first an internet marketing career is usually very hard, not because the kind work you do but because many of us tend to give up if the money doesn't start to flow in the first few days. This is actually the biggest and most common mistake beginners make and this is the reason why most people never make money on the internet.

Many of my subscribers usually ask me how much money I'm making because so many of them are not making enough cashflow to cover their monthly expenses. In fact I'm making over $15,000 /month. A lot of money can be made on the internet but the newbie's shouldn't take it the way so many of them take it; they should take it like a real business. (more...)

Thukpa, A Tibetan noodle dish
Tibetan cuisine, is quite distinct from that of its neighbours, since only a few crops (not including rice) grow at such high altitude. The most important crop is barley. Dough made from barley flour, called tsampa, is the staple food of Tibet. This is either rolled into noodles or made into steamed dumplings called momos. Meat dishes are likely to be yak, goat, or mutton, often dried, or cooked into a spicy stew with potatoes. Mustard seed is cultivated in Tibet, and therefore features heavily in its cuisine. Yak yoghurt, butter and cheese are frequently eaten, and well-prepared yoghurt is considered something of a prestige item. (more...)

Database Design Info for the Newbie

Much of the database design information available on the internet is geared towards the designers. The lingo alone is enough to discourage a lot of small business owners. If that describes you, don’t worry. It’s not as complicated as it seems.

There are some designers that want to keep the whole subject “mysterious”. If they simplified the subject so that you and I could understand it, we might not need them. Luckily, only a few designers think that way these days. (more...)

Consider a Customized Interface for Your Database

Taking advantage of a customized interface will allow you and your employees to make better use of your database. Being able to come up with the information that you need, in the shortest period of time possible, is a good customer service goal.

Standard software modules that are non-customized may work for a short period of time, until your database grows and your company expands. But, customizable programs are always a better choice in the long run. (more...)

Innovative Interface Includes a Test Scenario Generator

A new approach to database design includes a dialog panel called up by the user whenever a need arises to pretest a feature before actually using it. This is accomplished by the addition of a customized table and software script that invokes a test scenario generator correlated precisely at the appropriate feature layer.

The database and interface design are also easily adaptable to future changes when new functions along with data table expansion is ordered for the business software. These new features become testable in the same manner as the original services were. (more...)

Database Assisted Testing for Software Applications

The next time you plan to install a new software application, you should seriously consider designing a database-assisted test configuration. The table-records of the new database can then be populated with values that contribute to a strenuous requirements-validation and verification series of tests.

This configuration will provide you with a handy tool that can generate test-values to compare against the new system performance values. In addition, the configuration can be expanded, as necessary, to include all future testing. (more...)

What Inventory Tracking Software Can Do For You

Your need for inventory tracking software may be apparent. But, just in case, here are a few of the reasons that you might need it and how to find a good program.

Whether you own a large warehouse or a small, single-room business, keeping an accurate running account of your stock is essential. You also need to be able to print out that account on a regular basis, comparing the actual on-hand items to what the computer “says” is in stock. (more...)

Keeping Medical Records Safe

Medical records are sensitive documents that must be maintained correctly in order to comply with federal, state and local governments. Whether the files are made of paper and stored in the traditional manner or entered into the computer and stored electronically, an accurate tracking database is essential.

In the US, most of the rules that relate to the storage of and access to medical records fall under HIPAA or the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Since HIPAA regulations were enacted, each patient must sign a sheet that allows their personal information to be shared with:

• Other medical personnel
• Insurance companies
• Labs
• Legal advisors
• Administrators
• Other healthcare professionals (more...)
